To race in The Race of Gentlemen (T.R.O.G.), vehicles must strictly adhere to post-war American vintage criteria. Cars must feature American-made bodies from 1934 or earlier with pre-1954 four- or eight-cylinder engines and running gear. Motorcycles must be American-made and from 1957 or earlier, utilizing period-correct modifications, aesthetics, and safety gear.
