    From classic rock and roll to smooth rhythm and blues to a set list hand-picked by the audience, the City of Cape May 2019 Summer Concert Series offers eight weeks of thrilling entertainment. All shows will be held at Cape May Convention Hall, 714 Beach Avenue in Cape May, New Jersey, beginning at 8 pm. On Wednesday, July 31, the powerful voice of American rhythm and blues and gospel singer Mavis Staples will fill Cape May Convention Hall. A Kennedy Center Honoree, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Blues Hall of Fame member, Staples is known for hits such as “I’ll Take You There” and “I Have Learned to Do Without You.”
