But\, did you know that there are many variations on this classic pattern? \n\n\n\nImprove your crochet skills one square at a time! The Building Blocks series is designed to improve your skills whether you are a beginner crocheter or have some experience. \n\n\n\nWe will be offering a class in this series each month.  In this second class\, we will be improving on the double crochet and chain stitch and learning how to do straight crochet as you would see in a regular crochet pattern.  Each month we will crochet a different pattern\, building on the skills previously learned and incorporating something new. \n\n\n\nThere are 12 blocks in the series that you will be able to sew together to make a beautiful afghan.
