    America engaged in a long, unpopular guerilla war in a jungle in Southeast Asia 50 years before Vietnam when it sought to pacify the Filipinos and show them the benefits of being an American territory. This PowerPoint presentation reviews both this series of wars and the lessons to be learned then and now from it. Presenter: Dr. Robert Heinly. Bring a bag lunch and hear talks on popular topics of history, culture and the arts during weekly Lunch & Learn presentations every Wednesday at noon. Presented by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC).
