Based on ELTC’s long-standing TALES OF THE VICTORIANS, this version, TALES IN THE BACKYARD, was devised in 2020 due to the pandemic. We can't offer you a cup of tea and homemade treats like usual when we perform at local B&Bs and shops, but performers are still reading stories by American authors, famous speeches, and one-act plays. Like last year, TALES are outside in a shaded backyard in Cape May on Thursdays at 4:00 PM during the summer. Performers use microphones. Reservations are required and may be made by calling 609-884-5898 or e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org. When making a reservation, the location will be revealed. Ticket price is $5 cash-at-the-door; ages 12 and under are free.

Not in Cape May? On April 30, 2020, ELTC launched its free TALES OF THE VICTORIANS AT HOME on the company’s YouTube Channel, https://www.tinyurl.com/ELTCYouTube
ELTC is committed to the health and safety of our community, therefore we adhere to all regulations set forth by the State of New Jersey under executive order 183 to ensure a safe and enjoyable theater going experience for our patrons, staff, volunteers, and artists. For example, restrooms may or may not be available. Although we are not providing snacks, guests may bring their own beverage.
