CAN I MAKE INSTALLMENT PAYMENTS ON MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL?

Yes! Members who would like to make two payments (April 1 and May 1, 2004) for membership renewal can do so. These payments will be automatically charged to your credit card account with no installment fee. No additional reminders or invoices will be sent. Deferred payment schedule requests must be received on or before March 31, 2004 and are eligible by credit card (MC, Visa or Amex) payment only.
How do I sign up? Simply complete the enclosed renewal form to pay by credit card and return it to the Chamber office by mail to P.O. Box 556, Cape May, NJ 08204 or by fax to (609) 884-2054 by April 1, 2004.

IS THERE ANYWAY I CAN SAVE MONEY ON MY MEMBERSHIP?

Yes! There are several value priced membership packages available this year. Save on Chamber services up to as much as $580 annually. Additionally, installment payments on membership discount packages are offered for up to 4 months with no installment fee! WHAT ARE MY MEMBERSHIP DUES USED FOR?


Membership dues fund the operating budget of the Chamber of Commerce. The operating budget pays for the utilities, payroll, supplies, maintenance, office machines, advertising and general operating expenses. In addition, dues will be used to reduce the capital loan payment schedule for remodeling the second floor of the Welcome Center. A bulk of the dues will go to marketing and advertising the Cape May, NJ area to potential and returning visitors.

WHAT IS THE FUNCTION OF THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?

Our mission statement is " TO PROMOTE THE CIVIC AND COMMERCIAL WELFARE OF GREATER CAPE MAY". The Chamber of Commerce continually strives to promote our membership businesses through print advertising, direct mail and television promotions, special events, referral services and through the publication and distribution of the Cape May, NJ Visitor Guide. The Chamber represents it’s membership in community projects, civic associations, local organizations and speaks as one voice for it’s members on local issues.
