    2018 CAPE MAY FILM FESTIVAL 2018 Friday, April 6, 2018: 7pm – We kick off Friday night with the new film by Cape May’s own Sara Werner. This is the South Jersey premiere of The Things They Left Behind. Friday night will then screen the award winning documentary by the creators of Chasing Ice, Chasing Coral. This film has been critically acclaimed globally for its cinematography as well as its message. Saturday, April 7, 2018: In the morning (10:30 am) we will be showing selected independent films submitted from all over the country followed by a lunch break. Our own local Empanada Mama will be bringing their restaurant to us, so come prepared to enjoy their menu items without leaving the festival location. In the afternoon we will screen more independent films. After a break for dinner: Saturday night 7pm feature: Mr. Anthony Bregman, producer of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, will be joining us for a screening of Eternal Sunshine followed by a Q & A panel moderated by our own Stefan Prosky and actor Wil Keenan. Mr. Bregman’s latest film was Collateral Beauty. His other credits include Begin Again, Sing Street, Foxcatcher, American Ultra and The Circle and the list goes on. Join us for the opportunity to talk to Mr. Bregman about his craft! Sunday, April 8, 2018: In the morning (10:00 am) we will feature films by young filmmakers. At 11am we will be showing a brand new independent film called Pizza Shop. The screening of this film will be followed by a pizza/salad lunch catered by a local restaurant. The lunch event will be free to members of the Cape May Film Society, all guests $5. In support of Let’s Hear Your Story, the Cape May Film Society will have a story booth. Guests will have the opportunity to tell their own stories of triumph in adversity. The Let’s Hear Your Story website is an online publication with the mission to educate and provide inspiration to people who are facing life challenges. Please consider letting us “hear your story.” We look forward to seeing everyone at the Festival!
